The CENTER FOR URBAN TEACHING (CfUT), a Milwaukee-based Christian non-profit, is actively HIRING UNDERGRADUATES to serve in Summer School 2021 as teaching interns. Participants receive intensive training and first hand teaching experience in this one of a kind program TARGETING UNDERGRADUATES that are interested in perfecting their teaching craft and working in inner city schools upon graduation. Program graduates also get the benefit of job placement services in addition to continued coaching through CfUT partner schools for the first two years in the field.

Slots are 30 minutes long, however most interviews fall into the 10-20 minute range.

UNDERGRADS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY! Living in the Milwaukee area during the summer internship is expected (housing options are available).
MUST BE PURSUING A BACHELORS DEGREE (at minimum) AND HAVE AN INTEREST IN/BE OPEN TO TEACHING IN THE MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN AREA.
Non-local applicants, MUST COMPLETE the entire application process by May 14th to qualify for the housing option that is available.
Number of participants is limited to 215 and less than 50 positions remain available.
